Max is the first in a series of political thrillers featuring Sam Woolfman a veteran of the Mossad. Sam investigates the death of billionaire tycoon Max Robertson. Though the novel's main character is loosely based on Robert Maxwell and the book itself deals with the various theories surrounding Mr. Maxwell's mysterious demise, the story is an imaginative take on the unraveling of a terrifying global conspiracy.

Juval Aviv

Juval is the President and CEO of Interfor, Inc., a leading international investigative and intelligence firm.

An international authority on terrorist networks, Juval served as lead investigator for Pan Am Airways into the Pan Am 103-Lockerbie terrorist bombing.

Juval has served as an officer in the Israel Defense Force (Major, retired) leading an elite Commando/ Intelligence Unit, and was later selected by the Israeli Secret Service (Mossad) to participate in a number of intelligence and special operations in many countries in the late 1960s and 1970s.

He is best known as a source for the 1984 book Vengeance: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team by George Jonas, on which Steven Spielberg's film Munich was based.
