It’s simple to play and download our audio, but if you haven’t done this before, you may need a few instructions. We also tell you here how to burn audio to a CD, and how to subscribe to our podcast or others using iTunes. iTunes makes it easy to transfer audio to an iPod.

All our audio comes with a download link and play icon. The simplest way to listen to our audio on your computer is to press the play button.
The audio will start to play.”off the page”…

Alternatively you can LEFT click the “download audio” link. The audio should start to play in the the default media player installed on your computer, such was Windows Media Player or Quicktime.
If you want to save the audio on your computer for future use (such as burning it to a CD) RIGHT click the audio. From the right-click menu choose “save link as” or on some computers this appears as “save target as”
.
You can choose a location on your computer in which to save the audio - perhaps on your desktop or in your “downloads” folder.

You will see slightly different instruction boxes depending on which system you use. While you are downloading you should see something like this:

The MP3 (audio) file should now be saved on your computer.
You can use free software such as Microsoft’s Media Player to burn audio to a blank CD. It’s very simple to do. Microsoft provide detailed instructions here.
If you use Microsoft Media Player 10 you may also want to read “organize your digital library”.
You can also organise your audio files and burn CDs using iTunes which is available both for Apple and Windows.

First create a play list and drag the audio files you want to burn into the list.
Choose iTunes > Preferences, click Advanced, and click Burning.
Select Audio CD as the Disc Format.

To have all the songs on the CD play at the same volume, select Use Sound Check.

Click OK.
Select the playlist containing the songs you want to burn to the CD, and make sure all the songs you want to include on the CD have a checkmark beside them.
Click Burn CD (at the bottom of the iTunes window) and insert a blank disk.
If the playlist contains more songs than will fit on the CD, iTunes burns only the number of songs that fit on one disc, and then asks you to insert another disc to continue burning the remaining songs.
It might take several minutes to burn an audio CD. You can cancel the burn by clicking the X next to the progress bar (but if you’re using a CD-R disc, you won’t be able to use it again).
We provide an audio feed that allows you to catch our latest episodes in iTunes or another podcatcher and to easily transfer them to an iPod or another MP3 player.
If you already know how to do this, please go to our subscribe page.
We also provide a one-click iTunes subscribe link. Click here and follow instructions. If you don’t yet have iTunes it will offer you the option to download it. If you do have iTunes it will open it on your computer. You will go directly to our page in iTunes from where you can easily subscribe to our podcast.
Open up iTunes. In the left sidebar you will see a Podcasts link.

Click this and you will be asked if you want to go to the iTunes Podcast directory. Click OK.

Once you are in the directory, you will find that podcasts are organised under various categories.
